We are looking for a driven and hands-on Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team at the Global Headquarters in the Netherlands. In this versatile role, you will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including HR advisory, recruitment, and policy development. You will work closely with leadership teams to provide HR support, advise on employee relations, ensure legal compliance, and foster an inclusive work environment and high-performance culture across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Advisory and Leadership Support:
- Act as a trusted advisor to management, providing expert guidance on HR policies, workforce planning, and organizational design.
- Support managers with complex HR issues, including performance management, restructuring, and compliance with Dutch labor laws.
- Advise employees on career development, HR processes, and workplace-related queries.
- Coordinate HR services at HQ in collaboration with HR Services.
Employee and Works Council Relations:
- Serve as a key point of contact for employee relations, ensuring fair resolution of workplace conflicts and grievances.
- Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and well-being, fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Maintain transparent and collaborative communication with the Works Council, preparing agendas and documentation.
HR Policies & Compliance:
- Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and handbooks in compliance with Dutch laws and global organizational goals.
- Ensure effective implementation and adherence to policies across the organization.
- Provide expert guidance on terminations, reorganizations, and employee disputes.
- Stay up to date with changes in Dutch labor law and advise on legal HR matters.
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Lead and manage the recruitment process for various roles across the organization, ensuring a strong talent pipeline.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define staffing needs and ensure an efficient recruitment strategy.
- Oversee a seamless onboarding process for new employees and contractors.
Performance Management and Development:
- Support leaders with performance appraisal systems to drive employee engagement and productivity.
- Identify training needs and promote career progression and leadership development initiatives.
- Lead talent reviews and succession planning processes.
Global Mobility:
- Oversee cross-border employment matters and ensure compliance with international labor laws.
- Provide guidance on work permits, tax implications, and other legal requirements related to international assignments.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably in an international and/or Dutch context.
- Broad HR expertise in employee relations, recruitment, and talent management.
- Strong advisory skills with the ability to influence leadership and drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in both Dutch and English.
- Experience with HRIS platforms (preferably SuccessFactors).
